The Challenge

SISD faced a challenge in terms of communicating several different aspects of their curriculum and facilities – as also in making the communication engaging for students and parents alike, and catering to multiple nationalities and cultures at the same time.

The Objectives:

SISD shortlisted Blue Logic Digital as their Content and Digital Agency to strategise on how to overcome the challenges posed by the competitive landscape and their unique positioning.

Some of the key objectives SISD shared with Blue Logic Digital were:

  • Build brand awareness around key features of the school such as availability of both day school as well as state-of-the-art boarding facilities for students from outside the UAE.
  • Create a pull effect and generate demand from potential students by getting them to sign up for a school tour first.
  • Develop an end-to-end interactive digital experience that provides up-to-date information to applicants and enables the school to capture potential student data on a regular basis.
  • Produce video content which can be shared on social channels.
  • Draw contextual traffic through online and offline channels.

The Solution Delivered

As a digital solutions company, Blue Logic Digital rose to the challenge and delivered a comprehensive and integrated strategy covering an interactive and dynamic website, supported by engaging video content on social media, state-of-the-art digital signages at key public places and a redesign of SISD’s marketing collaterals. The messaging across all these online and offline touchpoints was standardised and synchronised to deliver a 360-degree interactive experience that packed a punch!

  • Website as a channel: Blue Logic Digital decided that their redesign of the website would be geared towards making the website more engaging and interactive for students rather than just provide (boring) information. The site was integrated with live feeds from SSID's social channels like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. This gave potential applicants visibility into various events and activities organised by the school for its students. The website was fully responsive and controlled by a back end CMS system for quick-and-easy updates.
  • Engaging content using video: Blue Logic Digital's Content Production team captured multiple events including SISD Town Halls and various CSR activities. Added to this content, videos related to SISD school infrastructure features like boarding house tours, typical day-in-the-life-of (DILO) a student, testimonials and campus walk-throughs were developed. These videos were then published online to create engagement on social media channels – YouTube, Facebook, Instagram as well as on the website.
  • Digital signage: Blue Logic Digital's team realised the importance of creating awareness about SSID among expats - right from the moment they entered the UAE! With this in mind, they deployed digital signage campaigns at Dubai International Airport's Executive as well as First-class lounges. This gave the brand an uninterrupted exposure and awareness to targeted decision-makers while they travelled In and out of Dubai. The messaging was crafted In such a way as to attract this audience towards taking a tour of the school.
  • Marketing collaterals: Leveraging best practices for modern design and user experience, Blue Logic Digital redesigned the school's marketing collaterals and ensured consistency across all the different types of collaterals and printed materials such as magazine ads, digital banners and in-premise displays. This redesign exercise also encompassed leave-behinds such as the Year Book, Day School Brochure, Welcome Kits for students. Now, every communication at SSID followed a standard messaging and led to an Integrated overall experience.
