Gamified Approach to Increase Footfall at a Premium Resort in Dubai

Introduction

Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, one of the luxurious and premium resorts present in the UAE, observed an upward trend growth in its hotel bookings on an annual basis mainly originating from China! The growth was massive as they received around 24,000+ room reservations made only by Chinese customers in 2018.
As the Chinese loved innovative gamification experiences, Bluelogic Digital collaborated with Atlantis to enhance the experiences of their dominant target group.
The innovative solution was brought up through, Jinli, an immersive gamification app built on augmented reality features, where guests could play treasure hunts & participate through restaurant table bookings or ticket purchases. Furthermore, this app was integrated with Alipay, CRM software, and a website with Chinese translation.
